I've always found something magical about handmade gifts - be it something as simple as someone's name printed on a birthday card, or detailed embroidery on a handmade quilt, nothing quite replaces the feeling of owning something unique.

Mabel and Lucy was born from a love of creating and trying new projects. For every event or occasion, I'm always looking for something special, and usually that involves a new craft project - and very often learning a new skill or two along the way! Whenever I'm crafting, I always have my loyal companions by my side - Mabel (our oh-so-loveable cocker spaniel) and Lucy (our teeny tiny cat) so it seemed only right they should become our mascots!
